Job summary

Orders of St. John Care Trust is seeking a Night Support Worker at Hayward Care Centre in Devizes. You will provide compassionate, resident-centered care during night shifts and support daily living activities for up to 80 residents.

Role involves maintaining safety, assisting with personal care, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a calm, dignified environment. Contracted hours are 36 per week, with 3x12 hour shifts including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Experience as a care worker in elderly care.
• Ability to work night shifts with professionalism and empathy.
• Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep wakeful watch on residents' safety and wellbeing.
• Assist residents with personal care needs and provide companionship.
• Carry out light household duties to keep areas tidy and comfortable.
• Work with the team to create a warm, respectful environment for all residents.
