Job summary

The Priory Care Home in Chippenham is seeking a warm, dedicated Care Assistant to join the night team from 10pm to 7:30am. No experience is required as a comprehensive induction and NVQ training are provided, with DBS checks funded by us.

You will be part of a small, supportive team delivering person-centred care to 23 residents. We value kindness, patience and reliability and offer training progression, a guaranteed paid induction, and a welcoming, family-like working environment where staff

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full induction provided.
• NVQ training funded by the employer.
• DBS check required (cost covered by employer).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents during the night shift.
• Support residents with personal hygiene, repositioning and comfort needs.
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report changes to the nurse in charge.
• Maintain accurate care records.
• Respond calmly to residents requiring reassurance at night.
• Assist with early morning personal care and getting ready for the day.
• Carry out light domestic duties to maintain a clean environment.
• Collaborate with night team and handover to day team.
