Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Night Care Assistant at St Giles care home to deliver compassionate personal care during the night shift. Full induction and training are provided, and you will work to protect residents' dignity and independence.

DBS check funded by employer and proof of right to work required. You will join a supportive team, monitor residents for wellbeing, notice early signs of pressure areas or infections, and escalate risks promptly.

Qualificações

• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Show initiative and be respectful towards residents and others in the home.
• Work efficiently and carry out reasonable instructions from team members.
• Adapt and flex to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high standards of personal care to residents.
• Assist residents with all personal hygiene care, protecting their independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls risk and signs of infection.
• Escalate identified risks in a timely manner.
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting each resident's dignity and individuality.
• Contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services.
• Practise safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
