Job summary

Prime Life is recruiting a Night Support Worker for Beechlands Care Home in the Clarendon Park area of Leicester. This full-time role focuses on dignified care for residents with learning disabilities and mental health conditions, across night hours, with training provided and DBS covered.

You will support residents with daily living, companionship, and participation in activities, aiming to improve quality of life and independence while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is desirable, but full training is provided.
• Residents have learning disabilities and mental health conditions requiring dignified support.
• Night shift availability is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life
• Provide companionship and emotional/practical support
• Assist residents in daily living decisions
• Assist residents with personal care and recreational activities
• Support residents to retire for the evening and enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep
• Promote independence in meal preparation and mealtimes
• Collaborate with other professionals to provide individualized care plans
