Job summary

Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon is seeking a caring Care Assistant to support residents with daily living and personal care. You will follow care plans to promote dignity and wellbeing, while contributing to a safe and respectful environment.

This role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development provided to support your journey within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required.
• SVQ Level 2 desired or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living, including personal care and mobility.
• Follow care plans to support dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Support emotional wellbeing and nutrition, ensuring residents feel safe and valued.
• Work as part of a team to create a warm, welcoming environment.
