Job summary

Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon is seeking a part-time Care Assistant for backshift hours (4pm–9pm). You will provide person-centred care, supporting residents with daily living, mobility and nutrition while following care plans.

Training and development are provided, with opportunities to grow within a caring team. The role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, offering a supportive environment and paid PVG, pension and uniform.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop; previous care experience beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans to provide safe, responsive and consistent care.
