Job summary

MHA Care Home Glen Rosa in Ilkley is seeking an experienced Care Assistant for night shifts. You will provide personal and social care to residents with dignity, supporting wellbeing and independence.

Roles include acting as a keyworker, contributing to care plans (including for dementia), and maintaining safeguarding, infection control and safety standards. Weekend rota work is required with a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal and social care preferred.
• Willingness to be trained (Level 1 or 2 encouraged).
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work weekends on a rota.

Responsibilities

• Act as a keyworker for residents and support admissions.
• Develop and review individual care plans (including dementia).
• Provide personal and social care per care plans.
• Uphold safeguarding, infection control and health and safety.
