Job summary

CCH Group is seeking a dedicated care professional to join a team caring for a child with complex medical needs in Epsom. You’ll provide round-the-clock support, including tracheostomy care, ventilation assistance, and PEG feeding, while engaging in a range of social and sensory activities.

The role requires moving and handling expertise, suctioning experience, and a valid UK driving license with access to a vehicle. Training and DBS checks are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex care setting.
• Experience in moving and handling.
• Experience in tracheostomy & PEG feeding care.
• Experience of looking after a ventilated child.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Experience with Makaton or alternative communication methods.
• Driver with own vehicle due to the location.

Responsibilities

• Join a dedicated care team supporting a delightful and sociable child to reach his full potential.
• Provide specialist care for a child with complex medical needs, supporting daily living and activities.
• Assist with light domestic tasks, social and sensory activities, and outings.
• Care will include tracheostomy care, ventilation support, PEG feeding, and specialist moving and handling.
