Job summary

Amica Care is seeking compassionate Care Assistants (Nights) to join our team and support our very first residents, helping shape a warm, welcoming home where they feel safe, valued and supported.

You will assist with daily routines, promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing, and build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues while following safeguarding and infection-control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Getting to know residents as individuals and supporting them in line with their personal needs, choices and routines.
• Helping residents with day-to-day activities while encouraging independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Building warm, positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and visiting professionals.
• Noticing changes or concerns and sharing with the team to ensure residents receive the right support.
• Keeping clear care records and communicating well with colleagues to provide high-quality care.
• Working safely and following safeguarding, infection prevention, confidentiality and wellbeing guidelines.
• Being part of a friendly team and helping to create a home where residents feel comfortable and cared for.
