Job summary

The Amwell Care Home, part of CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED, is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our private luxury home in Melton Mowbray. You will support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, delivering dignity and wellbeing in a calm, respectful environment.

Full-time contract, 38.5–44 hours per week, with 5.6 weeks annual leave; training and development are provided to support your journey within our caring team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition.
• Work as part of a supportive team to deliver high quality, person centred care.

Job description

Our private, luxury care home is in the beautiful market town of Melton Mowbray. We offer Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care for 88-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 38.5-44 hours per week
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
