Greatwood House Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for night shifts near Manchester. You’ll support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following individual care plans and contributing to a safe, respectful environment.

We welcome both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training, ongoing development and a strong team culture.

About Greatwood House Care Home

Our 60 bedded home provides residential and residential dementia care. Located in Denton, just outside Manchester, Greatwood House is a friendly and welcoming home with bright communal spaces, a lovely conservatory and landscaped garden. With a strong family atmosphere and a caring team, it is a great place for colleagues to build meaningful relationships and make a real difference to residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.45 - £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid PVG/DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
