Job summary

Dovehaven Care Homes is seeking a dedicated NIGHT Care Assistant for its Maple Lodge Residential Home in Liverpool. The role involves providing compassionate care to residents, supporting their independence, and maintaining high standards of service. Position Details

Location: Maple Lodge Residential Home, Halewood, Liverpool

Working Hours: Nights, 7pm - 7am, every other weekend, 33-hour contracts available

Maple Lodge caters for up to 45 residents, specializing in dementia care, promoting independence, dignity, and respect.

Role Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the home, maintaining high standards of care and service.
  • Provide personal and practical care to residents, demonstrating compassion and empathy.
  • Support residents' independence and dignity through positive engagement.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience in social care or related roles preferred.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills and sensitivity to residents' needs.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
