Job Description:

The Care Worker / Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will assist the team with daily routines including personal care and feeding. They should ideally have some experience in care and be a compassionate individual. Responsibilities include caring for patients at home or in a healthcare facility, supporting hospital and clinic teams, and providing compassionate support to those in need.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Previous experience and/or qualifications in care are preferable but not essential.
• Must have a friendly, caring attitude, with respect for individuals needing healthcare support.

Typical Duties:

• Assisting with washing, showering, dressing
• Serving food and helping with eating
• Making and changing beds
• Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
• Providing emotional support to patients
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Helping with toileting needs
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in patient areas
• Managing supplies and equipment

Additional Information:

Work may involve using mobility aids, escorting patients within hospitals, and participating in induction training with experience. We also recruit for roles such as General Nurses, Community Nurses, and Specialist Nurses.
