Job summary

Foley Grange Care Home in Kidderminster, Worcestershire is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide high quality, person-centred support to residents. You will assist with personal care, mobility and nutrition while following care plans to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Full training and ongoing development are provided, with a friendly team and a supportive work environment that values compassion, reliability and good communication.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ/NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, person-centred care in a residential setting.
• Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Follow care plans and monitor changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, positive environment.
• Contribute to residents’ dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.45 - £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 38.5 hours per week
• Paid [PVG/DBS] pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
• Hours are 20:00pm - 08:00am

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
