Job summary

York And Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a diligent Temporary Staffing Officer to provide comprehensive administrative support within the Temporary Staffing Service. The role involves assisting with bank and agency bookings, recruitment, payroll and staffing administration while ensuring efficient services across wards and departments.

You will work closely with NHS teams to optimise staffing fill rates, maintain accurate records and uphold Trust policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of administrative experience.
• Experience working in the NHS.
• Proficient with IT applications, including Microsoft Office.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Computer literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Temporary Staffing Service.
• Support daily bank operations, bookings, and agency requests.
• Assist recruitment, payroll and staffing administration.
• Collaborate with wards, departments and agencies to deliver an efficient service.
