Job summary

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is recruiting Band 3 Healthcare Support Workers to join the Pershore Community Hospital team. The role involves working 34.5 hours per week with an MDT to achieve rehabilitation goals and support safe, effective, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification level 3 in care or equivalent.
• Care Certificate or willing to gain within 12 weeks of commencing in Trust.
• Willing and able to undertake Safety Intervention training.
• Experience of working in a care environment (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Behave consistently with the values and beliefs of the organisation, promoting these on day-to-day basis.
• Act as a role model to colleagues, maintaining high standards of professionalism.
• Use their initiative and take responsibility for themselves and the quality of their work and the service they provide to patients.
• Provide safe and effective practice to patients within the Community Hospital.
• Work as part of the Community Hospital Nursing Team to support and work with the MDT to provide patient care in a ward/department.
