Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced property professional to manage its NHS property portfolio. The post holder will negotiate leases, manage acquisitions and disposals, and optimise service charges, working closely with the Associate Director for Health Planning and Property.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, detailed knowledge of estates best practice, and the ability to manage multiple high value projects across Sussex.

Qualifications

• Degree level in a property related discipline.
• AssocRICS/MRICS/FRICS with experience in property/asset management.
• Significant experience in large value property transactions and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational property advice across the property portfolio.
• Negotiate leases, renewals, licences, rent reviews and related contracts.
• Identify income opportunities and manage service charges as landlord and tenant.
