Job summary

Sussex Community is seeking aProperty Manager to oversee the Trust's property portfolio, negotiate leases and renewals, and manage service charges. The role will coordinate site searches, acquisitions, disposals, and space allocations to support healthcare teams.

The post holder will ensure compliance with NHS policies, RICS best practices, and the Trust's estate strategy, engaging with NHS partners and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• MRICS or equivalent professional qualification.
• Accredited Degree in a relevant field.
• AssocRICS or MRICS membership.
• Member/FRICS status encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Manage The Trust's Property Portfolio and related duties, including landlord/tenant negotiations, rent reviews, lease renewals and licences.
• Undertake site searches and manage acquisition and disposal cases.
• Oversee service charges as landlord and tenant and ensure timely transactions.
• Identify space requirements, conduct inspections and support the estate strategy.
