Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Housekeeper to join the Offender Healthcare Team, supporting healthcare services across HMP Rochester and HMP Cookham Wood. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming clinical environment and ensure stock is available to deliver high-quality patient care.

This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £27,760 to £29,476 per annum with a recruitment and retention incentive included.

Qualifications

Good organisational and communication skills.
Basic IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience within a healthcare, stores, facilities or customer-focused environment is desirable.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience, skills and knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

Order and maintain clinical and non-clinical stock.
Replenish supplies across healthcare areas.
Manage store rooms and stock rotation.
Reporting repairs, maintenance issues and environmental concerns.
Support healthcare teams to maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments.
Safely transporting stock and supplies across the prison sites.
Working collaboratively with prison staff and healthcare professionals to ensure services run efficiently.
