Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled pensions administrator to provide a full pension service to around 500 employees, with manual input and calculation, on behalf of the Trust.

You will liaise with NHS employees and external agencies such as NHSPA, HMRC, DWP, banks and solicitors, delivering technical advice, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the Pensions Service for the Trust and its clients.

Qualifications

• Significant NHS pensions experience.
• Working knowledge of pension systems and payslips.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Experience working on large payroll/pensions systems.
• Experience in NHS Pensions Dept.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and guidance to support pension changes to Trust employees and the employer.
• Contribute to the management and continuous improvement of the Trusts Pensions Service for the Trust and Clients.
• Liaise with NHS employees and external agencies such as NHSPA, HMRC, DWP, banks and solicitors.
