Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) seeks a Clinical Engineer to maintain and repair medical devices across hospital sites, including Wythenshawe Hospital and ORC. You will manage service records and liaise with clinical teams to ensure uptime and safety.

Applicants should have NVQ3 or equivalent, GCSEs with English/Maths, and a driving licence. NHS experience and manual handling training are desirable; DBS checks may apply as part of safeguarding patients.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 or equivalent technical training/experience.
• GCSEs x5 including English and Maths.
• Further qualification achieved or in progress.
• IT literate with Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
• Full driving licence.
• Trained in manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair medical devices, ensuring timely and accurate service records.
• Act as the face of Clinical Engineering when dealing with clients.
• Work individually or as part of a team, adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
