Job summary

Rydon is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the NHS Maintenance team at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup. The role is mobile within a busy hospital environment, performing planned, preventative and responsive electrical maintenance to keep facilities operational.

The successful candidate will bring NHS hospital maintenance experience or strong commercial electrical experience, with NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3, 18th edition, and desirable inspection/testing qualifications.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations.
• 18th edition wiring regulations.
• 2391/2394/2395 for inspection & testing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Perform electrical repairs, maintenance and installation including circuits, lights, motors and related components.
• Participate in on-call rota to support urgent repairs and out-of-hours work.
