Job summary

Nimbuscare, a not-for-profit organisation within the NHS family, is recruiting Health Care Assistants to support NHS Health Checks for adults aged 40 to 74 in a clinical team. The role includes taking observations, blood samples and delivering tailored lifestyle advice, with options for permanent or bank terms.

The position requires phlebotomy and DBS checks, and involves recording results on SystmOne, adhering to CQC requirements and safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering NHS Health Checks and safe patient care.
• Ability to record observations and results accurately.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Undertake NHS Health Checks in line with guidelines.
• Measure height, weight, BMI, blood pressure and pulse.
• Perform venepuncture where required.
• Give lifestyle advice on diet, activity, smoking and alcohol.
• Record patient information on SystmOne.
