The Pulteney Practice in Bath is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant for a part-time role. You will perform phlebotomy, BP monitoring, ECGs and assist with wound care, routine checks and health promotion activities. The work is mainly at the city centre site with some shifts at the Bathampton branch.
Training and upskilling opportunities are available. Applicants should have recent phlebotomy experience; HCA care certificate is desirable.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team.
This position is 2 days per week, 8am to 4pm (15 hours per week), Mondays and Fridays. We can be flexible on hours but not the days.
Please note that we do not accept applications from overseas who do not already have a permit to work in the UK. We are not able offer visa sponsorship.
Main duties include phlebotomy, BP, ECG, minor wound dressings, and stock ordering. These skills are essential, but we are happy to develop the right candidate to upskill in other tasks such as B12 administration and NHS Health Checks.
Most days will be located at our main city centre site on Great Pulteney Street (no parking) but some routine working will be required at our branch site in the nearby Bathampton village.
