Job summary

Rydon Maintenance, part of the Rydon Group, is seeking an experienced Contract Manager (NHS Hard Facilities Management) to lead hard FM services across NHS contracts in Essex and surrounding areas. You will manage a skilled maintenance team, ensure KPI/SLA delivery, and drive continuous improvement while controlling budgets and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

• Proven experience managing multi-site NHS/PFI contracts.
• Strong financial acumen and KPI/SLA management.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hard FM services (planned, preventative and reactive repairs) across NHS contracts.
• Lead and develop a skilled maintenance team and ensure contract compliance with all regulations.
• Manage contracts to meet KPI/SLA targets and maximise value.
• Plan daily/weekly/monthly activity and attend client contract monitoring meetings with documentation.
• Drive succession planning and mentor team members to maintain high performance.
• Identify and mitigate risks across contract operations and service delivery.
