Job summary

Rydon Maintenance is seeking a Maintenance Operative with a plumbing bias for our NHS-focused maintenance team in Sidcup, Kent. This on-site role involves a broad range of tasks from plumbing to carpentry, aimed at keeping NHS facilities safe and comfortable.

You will work a standard daytime pattern with the option to join an on-call rota to increase earnings. A competitive salary and full training are provided, with career development & strong pension and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience in the maintenance of buildings, ideally NHS.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe systems of working.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing, light electrical, carpentry and general wear-and-tear maintenance as part of a multi-skilled team.
• Perform reactive and planned maintenance (PPM) to NHS facilities and other sites.
• Be part of an on-call rota to respond to urgent maintenance needs.
