Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Facilities Coordinator (Band 5) to oversee services at The Wells Road Centre and support at Hopewood, Highbury, Duncan McMillian House, Lings Bar, and community sites.

The role focuses on delivering safe, high‑quality facilities services to patients, staff and visitors, with a DBS check required and consideration of NHS Agenda for Change guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or junior management position within a similar environment.
• Experience with financial and budgetary control including identifying areas for cost efficiencies.
• Experience in the monitoring of food hygiene/safety including auditing of operational catering departments, based on legal requirements of the Food Safety Act 1990.
• Working within an NHS/healthcare setting.
• Leadership/management of teams.

Responsibilities

• To support the operational delivery of comprehensive, high quality, cost effective Facilities Services in all aspects of the NHS plan ensuring performance standards are achieved.
• To adhere to national and local initiatives to achieve objectives, balance scorecards and performance indicators.
• Provide support to Facilities Services in the delivery of safe, high quality service to patients, staff and visitors.
