Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse for the Adults CMHT in North Manchester on a locum basis. The role offers an hourly rate of £26 and flexible, part-time options with core hours 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

You will manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, document interventions, mentor junior staff, and participate in service planning while adhering to professional conduct and ethics.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Mental Health Nursing and NMC registration.
• Familiarity with GMMH systems and Paris access is preferable.
• Experience as a Mental Health Nurse in community settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined caseload of clients with complex physical and mental health needs in the community.
• Record interventions in line with CMHT procedures as outlined within the CMHT operational procedure.
• Provide professional advice and support to junior staff and support staff.
• Actively participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of the CMHT service.
• Offer guidance and supervision to students on fieldwork placements.
• Abide by the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for your professional body.
• Engage in the duty rota operated by the Community Mental Health Team.
