Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse for an ongoing locum role with the Gedling Local Mental Health Team in Nottingham. Flexible hours are available, including four days 8am–6pm or part-time options, with a competitive £26/hour rate.

The post involves comprehensive community-based assessments, caseload management, and MDT participation to deliver high-quality adult mental health care.

Qualifications

• Clinical assessment and care planning for adults with mental health needs.
• Experience working with MDTs and community teams is advantageous.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive service user assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users to determine mental health needs.
• Manage CCO/key worker caseloads by developing, implementing and reviewing care plans.
• Participate in duty work and screen referrals to recommend interventions.
• Administer depot medications and manage CTO cases.
• Take part in MDT discussions to contribute to holistic patient care.
