Integrated Care 24 (IC24) is seeking an NHS 111 Health Advisor to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The role involves handling NHS 111 calls, using NHS Pathways, and directing patients to the right care with empathy and professionalism.

You will receive extensive training and support from experienced clinicians. Full-time and part-time shift options are available, including weekends; training starts in November/December and runs for five weeks.

Aufgaben

• Answer NHS 111 calls, listen carefully to patients' concerns and gather information needed to understand their needs.
• Assess patient needs safely using NHS Pathways and approved processes to assess urgent and non-urgent conditions.
• Signpost callers to the most appropriate service, from self-care to emergency response.
• Support callers who may be distressed, anxious or vulnerable with empathy while maintaining professionalism.
• Navigate multiple IT systems, record information accurately and follow established processes.
• Deliver care to quality standards, service expectations and safety guidelines.
• Take part in training, coaching and development to build knowledge and confidence.
• Recognise safeguarding concerns and escalate where appropriate while upholding IC24's values.
