Job summary

Effective Recruitment Solutions Ltd seeks an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to install, commission, service, and maintain complex refrigeration systems across Scotland. You will work on NH3/CO2-based setups, diagnose faults, and provide on-site support with clear client communication.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with service managers and other engineers, including an average 1 in 5 standby rota. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining industrial refrigeration systems, incl. NH3/CO2.
• Relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform preventive maintenance.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service, and maintain industrial refrigeration systems.
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment issues on site.
• Implement preventive maintenance and safety practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and communicate with clients.
