Job summary

The John Innes Centre is seeking a Communications and Engagement Officer to join the NGI Programme, a landmark investment that will transform facilities and capabilities across JIC, The Sainsbury Laboratory and partner sites.

You will create engaging content, coordinate events, support consultations and ensure colleagues, funders and stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the programme lifecycle, working across multiple organisations to deliver integrated communications.

Qualifications

• Translate complex information into clear, accessible content.
• Build productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Manage multiple priorities within a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with construction, infrastructure or major capital programmes would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communications for the NGI programme.
• Coordinate engagement events and consultations with stakeholders.
• Ensure colleagues, partners, funders and other stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Collaborate across John Innes Centre, The Sainsbury Laboratory and the Norwich Research Park to deliver integrated communications.
