Job summary

The John Innes Centre is seeking an NGI Communications and Engagement Officer to support the Next Generation Infrastructure programme. You will develop communication materials, coordinate stakeholder engagement, and assist with programme events, working across JIC, TSL and partner groups.

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Engagement, you will help deliver communications strategies for a major capital programme and ensure clear, accessible information reaches diverse audiences,

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area (Essential).
• Qualification in a relevant communication, PR or marketing subject, or chartership to a relevant organisation (e.g. CIPR) (Desirable).
• Experience delivering communications and engagement in a research or similar environment (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop and update online and print information to support communications and engagement.
• Provide administrative support for engagement workstreams, coordinate meetings, and take minutes.
• Lead engagement events and ensure stakeholders are informed throughout the programme lifecycle.
