Job summary

VGC Group is recruiting for an NG-General Operative (cabling) to join a major project upgrading the electricity transmission network in Ipswich. The role offers long-term work with a reliable, hardworking operative contributing to a collaborative team on site.

Base pay is £18.35 per hour (PAYE) with hours from 07:30 to 18:00, supporting substation and cabling activities on a high-profile infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Experience on NG Substation projects.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a team.
• Willingness to work long hours on a major infrastructure project.

Responsibilities

• Support cabling work on the Ipswich project.
• Assist with site safety and coordination.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and report issues promptly.

Base Pay Rate: £18.35 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 07:30 - 18:00
