Job summary

Reach is seeking a Newsletter Editor for the Mirror to drive growth across our email newsletters. You will curate engaging content, expand the subscriber base, and use performance metrics to inform editorial decisions, upholding top-tier newsroom standards.

Reporting to the Senior Audience Editor/Audience Development Specialist, the role is home-and-hub based with hybrid work around a London Canary Wharf base, requiring 5 days over a 7-day rota including weekends.

Qualifications

• NCTJ or equivalent qualification.
• Deep knowledge of media law.
• Proven experience using ESPs and CMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce, edit, and write sharp newsletters, subject lines, and CTAs.
• Identify audience opportunities to grow subscribers.
• Analyse performance data to curate stories and inform editorial decisions.
• Collaborate with reporters, desks, and marketing to test formats and develop acquisition/retention strategies.
• Cover additional audience duties on a rota.
• Promote a diverse and inclusive environment.
