Clinical Practice – The newly qualified midwife will be expected to complete a preceptorship programme in order to consolidate their skills during their transition of a band 5 newly qualified midwife through to achieving their band 6.

The successful post holder will provide ante-natal, post-natal and intrapartum care to women with low and high-risk pregnancies. They will rotate through all areas of the services as required including Continuity of Carer and Community and will be supported by the workforce team and the wider maternity unit.
You will also have access to our team of PMAs for additional support if/when required.
