Job summary

Realm Recruit is seeking a Newly Qualified Family Solicitor to accelerate your career in a specialist family law team in the North West. You’ll work on high-value private matters from day one, with a supportive environment that prioritises learning over billing.

In your first year you’ll work with Partners on divorce, financial remedy, and private children cases, developing advocacy, drafting and client care skills while enjoying mentoring and a 20% bonus scheme.

Responsibilities

• Assist Partners and senior lawyers on complex private family matters
• Support clients on divorce, financial remedy and private children cases
• Carry out legal research and draft legal documents
• Prepare court bundles and case documentation
• Attend client meetings and court hearings
• Support business development and marketing initiatives
• Gradually take ownership of your own matters as experience develops

During your first year, you’ll work side‑by‑side with experienced Partners and senior lawyers, supporting on a broad range of high‑quality cases including divorce, financial remedy, high‑net‑worth matters, private children work and pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements.

As your career develops, you’ll begin managing more of your own matters, strengthen your advocacy skills and build your profile through networking, articles and business development.
