Job summary

Academics Cardiff is seeking Newly Qualified Primary Teachers for Cardiff & Vale starting September 2026. You’ll join a network of local primary schools, supplying flexible day-to-day work and longer placements to support induction hours.

We match NQTs with schools across Cardiff and the Vale, providing dedicated consultant support and opportunities that may lead to permanent roles. Salary is set according to qualifications and client pay policy.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Enhanced DBS certificate and EWC registration required.
• Right to work in the UK confirmed.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible day-to-day supply teaching for new teachers progressing induction.
• Assist schools in arranging long-term placements and induction hours for NQTs.
• Support with safeguarding and compliance checks as part of induction process.
