Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is urgently seeking qualified and newly qualified Primary Teachers for day-to-day supply, short-term and longer-term roles across Newport. You will teach across the primary age range, deliver engaging lessons and assess pupil progress in line with the Curriculum for Wales.

We welcome NQTs and experienced teachers alike, offering opportunities from Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2, competitive daily rates (£172.98) and a supportive educational consultant to help you secure

Qualifications

• Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS in the UK
• Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply
• Available for either part-time or full-time work
• Previous primary school teaching experience
• A passion for delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Strong classroom management skills
• Able to plan and deliver lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
• Confident assessing and marking pupils' work
• Positive approach to supporting children's learning and development
• Able to motivate and engage primary-aged pupils
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
• Registered with the EWC or willing to complete registration
• Driving is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range
• Assess and mark pupils' work and track progress
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with Curriculum for Wales
• Provide flexible supply support and longer-term teaching where required
• Support children’s learning and development through effective teaching

• Are you a qualified or newly qualified Primary Teacher living in or able to commute to Newport?
• Do you hold QTS in the UK and have experience teaching across the primary age range?
• Looking for day-to-day supply, short-term or longer-term teaching opportunities?
• Want to work with a Welsh Government approved framework agency?
• Looking for excellent rates of pay, including £172.98 per day and paid to scale for longer-term roles?

Vision for Education is a Welsh Government approved education recruitment agency supporting primary schools across Newport and South Wales. We are currently urgently seeking qualified and newly qualified Primary Teachers for a range of day-to-day supply and longer-term teaching positions.

We work closely with a number of primary schools across Newport and regularly have opportunities available from Foundation Phase through to Key Stage 2.

Whether you're looking for flexibility through supply teaching or want to secure a longer-term position, we can help you find a role that suits your experience, availability and career plans.
