Role Overview

We are seeking a caring, compassionate Newly Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse to join our team. You will be supported through our Nursing Preceptorship Programme to develop your skills in a nurse-led environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to individuals with mental health issues and personality disorders
• Develop therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning
• Adhere to all relevant codes of conduct, standards, and legislation

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Mental Health Nursing or Learning Disability Nursing
• Good interpersonal skills and knowledge of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007
• A positive attitude, motivation, and excellent teamwork skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, values-based, evidence-based practice
