Job summary

This fixed-term, ARRS-funded GP post sits with Central and South Primary Care Network and is employed through Roby Medical Centre, on four sessions a week. The work centers on face-to-face and telephone consultations, managing acute and routine presentations, safe prescribing and some home visits, alongside clinical admin.

Applicants must be within two years of CCT and have not yet held a substantive post. Full GMC registration is required, with ability to work independently and as part of a

• Newly qualified GP within two years of CCT and eligible under ARRS.
• Must have Full GMC registration and licence to practise.
• Not yet held a substantive post.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face and telephone consultations.
• Manage acute and routine presentations and safe prescribing.
• Complete clinical administration including referrals and results.
• Undertake home visits where clinically appropriate.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care.
• Contribute to extended access services on a pro-rata basis.
