Job summary

This fixed-term, ARRS-funded GP post sits with Central and South Primary Care Network and is employed through Roby Medical Centre, on four sessions a week. The work centers on face-to-face and telephone consultations, managing acute and routine presentations, safe prescribing and some home visits, alongside clinical admin.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face and telephone consultations.

• Complete clinical administration including referrals and results.
• Undertake home visits where clinically appropriate.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care.
• Contribute to extended access services on a pro-rata basis.

Job description

This fixed-term, ARRS-funded GP post sits with Central and South Primary Care Network and is employed through Roby Medical Centre, on four sessions a week. The post is based at one practice or at most two across the network's eleven practices, with dedicated education and supervision time built in. Applicants must be within two years of CCT and have not yet held a substantive post.
