Job summary

The Ivy is opening The Ivy New Castle, and we are seeking a confident Restaurant Manager to lead guest experience, service standards and team performance.

You will oversee front-of-house operations, foster learning, manage a skilled team of managers, and uphold our Caring values while delivering memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in restaurant management.
• Experience leading a multi-role front of house team.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy service.
• Excellent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Build and maintain an efficient team and drive business objectives.
• Develop a learning culture and reward team members.
• Manage employees with feedback and appraisals.

Key elements of your role as Restaurant Manager:

• To provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times to the highest standards, leading by example.
• To build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team towards the objectives of the business.
• To develop a learning culture and to ensure that all team members feel valued and rewarded.
• To manage all employees in line with the agreed skills and standards, giving regular feedback and appraisals
• To ensure all guest requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively.
• Analyse Mystery Diner reports and communicate them back to your team, finding ways to improve and learn.

About you:

• You have 2 years + experience in this position
• You have the experience and skills to oversee and support a team of managers, as well as the entire front of house operation.
• You love to wow guests with exceptional service, and you can cope well under pressure during a busy service.
• You have excellent English language skills
