Job summary

Aspire Recruitment in Liverpool is seeking an In Work Support Advisor to provide ongoing support to individuals who have recently secured employment through a welfare-to-work programme. You will work with participants during their first months, offering guidance, practical support and interventions to help them stay in roles.

The role involves regular check-ins, liaising with employers and Employment Advisors, maintaining records and working toward targets and KPIs while upholding

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with a confident and professional telephone manner.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation and influencing skills.
• The ability to build rapport quickly and provide supportive, person-centred guidance.
• Experience handling sensitive or challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Providing regular support calls and check-ins with participants who have recently started work
• Identifying individuals who may be at risk of losing employment and escalating concerns appropriately
• Offering practical advice, guidance and problem-solving support to address workplace challenges
• Liaising with employers, where appropriate, to help resolve issues and promote positive outcomes
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date participant records in line with contractual and organisational requirements
• Monitoring and recording employment changes, including role progression, job changes and job losses
• Working collaboratively with Employment Advisors and colleagues across multiple locations
• Managing a caseload effectively while working towards performance targets and key performance indicators
• Escalating complex cases or concerns to management in a timely and professional manner
