Job summary

Seetec Business Technology Centre in Norfolk is seeking an In-Work Support Adviser to help participants sustain and progress in employment under the Restart Programme. You will provide tailored coaching, draw on local networks, and build employer relationships to resolve workplace challenges.

The role requires experience with disabilities or barriers to work, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Salary ranges from £26,500 to £29,858 per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Experience of coaching people with disabilities or barriers to work.
• Experience of caseload management and delivering one-to-one or group support.
• Ability to build relationships with partners and Jobcentre Plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet KPIs and quality/compliance measures.
• Manage a busy caseload of In Work Support Participants.
• Use local specialist services to address issues (e.g., substance misuse).
• Develop relationships with agencies and Job Centre Plus.
• Advocate with employers to resolve retention challenges and support progression.
• Assist with job-search and interview preparation as needed.
• Co-produce in-work support plans with participants and employers.
