Job summary

Bob & Berts is opening a brand-new Warrington store and seeks a hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead the back-of-house team from day one. You will ensure dishes meet Bob & Berts standards, while maintaining a welcoming customer experience and strong profitability through tight stock control.

The role requires experience in fast-paced kitchens, strong leadership, and a flexible full-time rota including weekends and early mornings. Join a growing brand with a passion for great coffee and food.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising in a fast-paced kitchen, café or restaurant environment.
• Confident with kitchen operations, stock control, food preparation, and team supervision.
• Food Hygiene Certificate preferred.
• Tidy, self-disciplined, calm under pressure, positive energy.
• Availability to work full-time including weekends and early mornings.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day kitchen operation during busy breakfast and lunch shifts.
• Prepare, cook and present menu items to brand standards.
• Monitor stock, place orders, manage deliveries and stocktakes.
• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate kitchen staff.
• Maintain hygiene, allergen, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure smooth service.
