Job summary
McLaren Automotive Ltd. is expanding its Supplier Quality & Development team to drive excellence across its vehicle programmes.
The role leads APQP, part maturity and supplier readiness, coordinating with Purchasing, Product Development and Manufacturing to ensure on-time launches. You will own the governance of supplier quality activities, drive cross-functional collaboration, and help shape commodity strategies while building a high-performing SQD launch organisation for new model
Qualifications
- Extensive Automotive OEM supplier quality experience.
- Proven track record delivering new vehicle programmes from supplier readiness to production launch.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC.
Responsibilities
- Lead SQD programme and launch activities across vehicle programmes.
- Represent SQD in gateway reviews and nomination audits.
- Drive APQP execution with suppliers and internal teams to meet milestones.
- Manage part maturity governance across build phases.
- Coordinate nomination audit plans with Site SQD Engineers.
- Provide quality input into programme planning and risk management.
- Lead containment and long-term corrective actions for supplier issues.
- Track key quality metrics and communicate progress to stakeholders.
