We have openings for recent graduates in our global team of HR Generalists, one in each major region of the world. We are holding these positions for truly exceptional individuals who will graduate from their first undergraduate degree in the next year, or who have graduated in the last six months at the time of application. Candidates will be assessed on academic achievement and extramural leadership, demonstrating a track record of over-achievement and a desire to learn, drive, and shape HR practices globally in a rapidly changing world.

Our people are based in over 70 countries. Our HR department relies on precise policy application, compliance, and People partnering to deliver efficient, friendly, and high-quality service. The Associate HR Generalist will support general HR activities in the APAC region, supporting HR processes and initiatives. This role offers a great opportunity to start and develop your career in a global People function.

The successful candidate will have an excellent academic record and some experience in an entry-level HR or People Team role, with knowledge of employment law. An interest in the Technology sector, especially Open Source, is desirable.

Location: This role is remote, based in the APAC region.

What your day will look like

  • Providing HR support by answering team members’ questions regarding employment, contracts, onboarding, benefits, and other inquiries, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintaining our HRIS with high accuracy and timeliness.
  • Managing global projects related to engagement, training, or culture initiatives.
  • Partnering with managers and employees to support HR processes and people strategies.
  • Supporting global colleagues, especially leads, managers, and executives.
  • Processing new hires, onboarding documentation, and system setup.
  • Supporting benefits enrollment and payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate data.
  • Liaising with payroll to ensure smooth salary payments.
  • Conducting audits of employment files and systems for accuracy and GDPR compliance.
  • Identifying process improvements to enhance HR functions.
  • Managing global background checks.

What we are looking for in you

  • An outstanding academic record from high school and university.
  • Experience in an entry-level HR/People role is beneficial, preferably in the Technology industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a focus on accuracy.
  • High integrity and confidentiality handling skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Proactive, with ideas to contribute to team success.
  • Ambitious to grow within HR.
  • Willing to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.

Compensation is based on location, experience, and performance, with annual reviews and performance bonuses up to 10%.
