Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a positive, compassionate GP to join Creswell and Langwith Medical Centre on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential extension subject to NHS funding.

The role requires new graduates within two years and includes face-to-face and telephone consultations, clinical care in line with the practice, and on-call duties. You may be asked to work at other DCHS General Practice sites in exceptional circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face and telephone consultations.
• Provide clinical care to patients in line with the job plan and NICE guidelines.
• Independently prescribe medications.
• Cover weekly on-call duties and support the service during absences.
• Participate in MDT meetings and practice audits.
