Job summary

BDO UK LLP is seeking a New Business Senior Manager within Private Equity Coverage to lead long-term sponsor relationships and drive revenue growth. You will manage key sponsor accounts, expand coverage to new sponsors, and coach junior colleagues in outreach and CRM practices.

You will work across Sales, Marketing and GTM to deliver targeted campaigns, use data-driven insights, and ensure consistent, high-quality engagement with financial sponsors and their portfolio companies.

Qualifications

• Experience in new business development in a complex B2B environment.
• Ability to generate meetings through credible, issue-led outreach.
• Strong CRM governance and data hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute targeting and outreach against priority lists with quality and consistency.
• Tailor approaches using buyer needs, issues and propositions.
• Generate and convert conversations into qualified meetings and early-stage relationships.
• Apply qualification standards to ensure useful follow-up and handoff.
• Focus activity on high-value targets and elevate constraints as needed.
• Collaborate with Markets Activation and Marketing to support local new business activity.
• Align activity with GTM priorities and ensure visibility in planning and reporting.
• Capture market insights from conversations to refine propositions and targeting.
• Contribute to scripts, templates and playbooks; share best practices with the team.
• Train and coach junior colleagues on outreach, qualification, and CRM discipline.
• Use tools to manage outreach, follow-up and traceability effectively.
